Beckham Leaves EUR 184 Million
to Play Rugby in Nepal

LONDON (Reuters). In a surprise annoucement today, British football sensation David Beckham flew to London by private jet for a bash with family and friends, and announced that he has quit "soccer" and will play rugby in Nepal instead.

"I love fresh air," explains Beckham. "Unfortunately, Los Angeles just got ranked #1 among US cities with the worst air quality."

Earlier this year, Beckham had been offered EUR 184 Million (USD $250 Million) to join the US "soccer" team The Los Angeles Galaxy. Full story
